Sustainable, a word we know is increasingly present in our day to day, and even more so in the MICE sector.

As we are all aware, the organisation and holding of events generates a considerable carbon footprint in our country every year.

Within the scope of promoting sustainability in the tourism sector and MICE, Ecoterrae has been working together with in the design and technical implementation of a tool capable of integrating and monitoring environmental sustainability in all types of events and travel.

More specifically, it is worth highlighting our involvement with the Andalusia Tourism stand at FITUR 2020

The correct calculation of Andalusia´s carbon footprint at this event, together with the promotion of sustainable tourism and the good practices implemented to mitigate impacts (compared to other events held in previous years) was acknowledged by the IFEMA, sustainability committee, which awarded us the prize for the most sustainable pavilion at the entire trade fair).

Our track record includes experience in coordinating training and capacitation workshops in sustainability for more than 200 VECISA employees, underlining the commitment of both entities to promote sustainable development in the sector.
